Architecture, Building and Structure Design Beehive House Family Home by Satoshi Higashijima The Beehive House is a home to stimulate the mind and body. The internal structure allows the family the freedom to choose how they move between spaces and together with the variety of shapes this keeps the brain stimulated. Positioning functional spaces on different levels helps to keep the body active. The architect has used Japanese castles as a theme for the design; the Regional Lord occupies the central space and the residents surround the main castle and protect it.
